Open Plan Kitchen Diner

For this project the client wanted to knock down the unused cupboard and make the kitchen and dining room into one. We first assessed the site and discovered an asbestos ceiling in the cupboard which was safely removed by a third party contractor before any work could continue. Once this was done the rest of the job could be carried out, which involved knocking down the cupboard, supporting the ceiling and roof above with acrow props and adding in a steel RSJ. It was then plastered and the kitchen altered to suit.
